​THE MARRIOTT HOTEL APPEAL HEARING

Back in February the city planning commission approved a 4-story, 150-room hotel to be located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Cerrillos Road and St. Francis Drive, across from the NM School for the Deaf. The vote was 3-3 with the tie broken by the chair of the commission. OSFA strongly opposed this development and filed an appeal with the city. That appeal went before the Governing Body (City Council) on Thursday, June 25th, 2026

Based on traffic and crash data, Santa Fe's busiest and most complex intersection.
This location is a Transportation Corridor that includes a noisy railroad crossing.
